OUR STORY

We are a Gelato events company based in Brockley, London and we serve up award winning 'Earth Friendly' gelato, made from with the finest ingredients and Italian chefs.

Our gelato flavours have been awarded a total of 55 gold stars plus 4 UK Top 50 foods at The Great Taste Awards. Our Pistachio is also a golden fork winner - which means it was the best food in all categories at the Great Taste Awards across London and the South East (yep, our chefs have skills).

Little Spoon has a very strong mission. To show our customers, other businesses and our own supply chain that you can have the very best product, whilst running your business sustainably from every angle.
​
We also wanted to use our influence as a high footfall business to show as many people as possible that eating sustainably can taste better. We have vegan versions for the majority of our flavours and they are more highly decorated in terms of awards from the Great Taste Awards because they are better! Don't worry - we still have lots of high welfare, free range and organic dairy options for those who still prefer the idea of dairy gelato. But you'll be converted soon enough ;).
What do we mean by 'Earth Friendly'?

We wanted to build a brand where at every angle we had the environment in mind, so:
- We have vegan alternatives for all the classics (many are better!)
- Any dairy we do have is of the highest welfare, free range and organic
- Our carts and vans for transportation run on 100% renewable energy
- Our pots and spoons are biodegradable
- Vegan cones
- We donate 1% of all revenues to planting trees!
- We consistently have conversations with our supply chain about how they can be more sustainable
And as soon as better technologies and sustainable methods become available,
you can bet that we will be adopting them. Suggestions welcome!
Our gelato is also is also made adhering to the principles of the 'slow food' movement, whereby we source the finest ingredients, as locally as possible.
